About The Project

This initiative seeks to convert on-the-job learning into portable, digital, verified records of skills and competencies. Funded through a $1.5 million grant from Lumina Foundation, the effort responds to growing employer demand for better data on the skills and competencies of job-seekers and current employees. The output of the work will be a process for translating training experiences into skills and competencies at scale and an interoperable digital record that reflects those achievements.

The project runs from November 1, 2017 thru October 31, 2019.
